St Callistus I
Ephesians 1:11-14. Happy the people the Lord has chosen to be his own – Psalm 32(33):1-2, 4-5, 12-13. Luke 12:1-7.
Even the hairs of your head have all been counted
My God, how do you know me so well? I cannot hide from you. You know every inch of my soul, all that is seen and hidden in the shadows. You know all my thoughts and every word I have uttered, yet you still love me. You have still chosen me. I am still your worthy child. I have nothing to fear because you care for me.
Father, let me not forget I am your beloved child. Even when life’s pressures weigh on me or I think I’m not worthy of your love, don’t let me forget that your love accounts for me. I will not be forgotten.
