Kyrie eleison
Lord my guess is that, like your disciples, a lot of us wince at these words of yours. But you also understand us, don’t you? You understand that we could be ‘unteachable’ and that perhaps some of us cannot accept it. Your head points us to the Law, but your heart gets that we also need your mercy.
Holy Spirit, remind me of this when I next pray the Kyrie.
