Romans 15:14-21. The Lord has revealed to the nations his saving power – Ps 97(98):1-4. Luke 16:1-8.
Draw up an account of your stewardship
There comes a time in our lives when we find ourselves in exactly the position of the steward –retrenchment, retirement, change of occupation. The man stopped to consider what, for him, seemed a bleak future; not fit for strenuous work and not prepared to go on the dole.
These times can become spiritually productive if we take ourselves to prayer and allow the Holy Spirit to do the talking. Let us keep in mind, always, that God has a future planned for each of us that would blow our minds were we given the barest glimpse of it. It is in the light of faith that we can plot the next move along the way.
