Break free and follow Jesus
‘Follow me’. Jesus calls us all, again, to draw nearer and walk with him. There are times when life pulls us into an ongoing cycle of tasks and commitments. We lose focus of our pilgrimage and end up on the treadmill of existence. The reading always grabs my attention.
Zebedee, what a fantastic name. The excitement of life can be found in all things. Spend some time pondering amazing words or names today. Absorb the joy of breaking your daily routine and being outrageous with the gifts you have been given. Break free and follow Jesus. His only routine was to love God and love others; that is enough for you also.
