Now is the time of God’s favour, now is the day of salvation
How often do we live in the now? I mean, actually live in each moment, fully conscious of all that it presents us with? Including God’s favour and salvation. Mind-blowing when you really stop to think about it and realise what is on offer. Today. In this actual moment. Right now. God’s favour is upon us. It is so easy to ignore the present moment because our minds are always looking to the past and to the future. To the past, and its hurts, and to the future and what it might bring. Yet the only moment we are guaranteed is the one we are living right now. May we try to live in the present moment a bit more each day, and search out God’s loving presence with us in each moment.
