Let us become more connected with the place of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Paray-le-Monial, a town renowned for the apparitions of the Sacred Heart of Jesus to St Margaret Mary Alacoque, became a sacred place of inspiration and pilgrimage. This place holds a significant place in the spiritual life of Saint Mary MacKillop. Visiting Paray-le-Monial strengthened Mary’s resolve to serve the poor, and to spread the love of the Sacred Heart. We can’t all travel to visit the place of the apparitions of St Margaret Mary Alacoque, however we can desire to be more connected with the place of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in our lives.
