Readings
The wholeness of creation.
In Ecclesiasticus we read that the Lord poured Wisdom out on all his works. Scientists today speak of an inner intelligence that directs all life. Surely these are two sides of the same coin. Both speak eloquently of ecology, of the interwoven forces of life that keeps all we know in balance. In truth, everything belongs. All of creation, humankind included, is part of the whole. If we turn towards the Light which has created us all, we gain a sense of deep connection, of wholeness. We leave behind our feeling of separation and gain a sense of belonging to God and to the natural world. Let us take time today to see how the flowers and trees praise God simply through their existence. Let us resolve to do the same ourselves each day.
