Be Jesus’ love to others
Today’s Gospel is challenging; if the Son of Man is not accepted in his home town how might we be? Jesus’ experience of humanity was so complete. Our God experienced life as we do in its totality. He was rejected, mocked and hated. These experiences of the worst of humanity were met with the perfection of which we are all capable. Even when those closest to us reject us we know that Jesus is near to us and comforts us in our pain. When have you experienced rejection or hurt and who offered you love in your brokenness? Truly our God is especially near when we hurt and know that you are the one who can offer his love on this earth. Be observant and seize the opportunity to be his love to others in this life.
