Leviticus 19:1-2, 11-19. Your words, Lord, are Spirit and life – Ps 18(19):8-10, 15. Matthew 25:31-46.
Open our eyes and our hearts
Lord, you point us to those you care about (‘the least of these brothers [and sisters] of mine’). If we pause to look around, we will see them.
Holy Spirit, we need to look around with your eyes and heart. You will show us one of ‘the least’, then another, then more. Open our hearts to your gaze. And be merciful to us please when we are blind.
