Do not judge, and you will not be judged
This is a hard teaching, Lord: it goes straight to my daily behaviour. How often in a day do I judge others – those I know and those I see in the street and on TV or just hear about? Everybody else has an opinion and I join in, perhaps just in my heart.
It’s such a familiar process, but you ask me to respond to that process by always looking first at myself. And often I don’t like what I see, especially when it reflects what I judge others on.
I know I will need your help with this please, Holy Spirit.
