You revealed these things to little children
‘What a ball we had’, we told you, Jesus:
‘townsfolk rushed to hear us. Devils fled,
and people jumping, biting, raging, calmed
when hearing the slightest mention of your name.
If this is ministry, it’s heaven come to earth’.
You said you’d sensed your power working,
and that we should not celebrate the show
but the grace of God who worked the healing.
We thank you, Lord, that you show yourself
in little things, in touching hearts and mindsm
and for the childlike ways in which you make us
agents of your hospitality.
