What is limiting you from building your relationship with God?
Jesus’ teaching today is another challenging message. Give up everything and follow me. This is something worth examining. Have you ever made a decision to give everything up that holds you back from God? How often do you reflect on the thoughts, actions and desires you have? Today would be a good day to explore your life and make a judgment about whether you are upholding this teaching or if some things have crept in that are limiting your ability to build your relationship with God and others. As the reading says, ‘nothing is impossible for God’ and you ‘will receive 100 times’ what you give up. Cast aside the extra baggage and the camel might just squeeze through the eye of the needle.
