‘Do whatever he tells you.’
Today’s first reading speaks of the great joy and delight that God takes in us. The psalmist tells us to sing a new song. The reading from Corinthians celebrates the many and diverse gifts of the Spirit and reminds us that all the unique gifts we have as individuals should be shared for the common good.
Jesus’ miracle at Cana is about the celebration and transformation of the community gathered at the wedding feast. God delights in us and we are made to be people of joy. Do we remember to delight in the gift that is this human experience and our relationships with each other?Email this Print This Page
