Pentecost Sunday
Acts 2:1-11. Lord, send out your Spirit and renew the face of the earth – Ps 103(104):1, 24, 29-31, 34. 1 Corinthians 12:3-7, 12-13. John 20:19-23.
Breathe the Holy Spirit on us
Lord, we are your disciples, but we are human and close the doors of our hearts in response to fear. So, we need you to breathe the Holy Spirit on us as you send us out into each day.
Holy Spirit, let us be open to your gentle arrival (like breath) each morning. Help us to perceive with your eyes and act from your heart.
