Your words, Lord, are spirit and life – Psalm 18(19):8-10, 15.
You are the body of Christ and individually members of it.
As unique creations of God, our features, talents and vocations in life naturally set us apart from one another. Yet in being creations of God, we are united in sharing the most precious gift of – life.
The gospels are narratives that illustrate the life of Christ, ‘reports of things that have taken place among us’, says Luke. Though they differ, the gospels are message bearers of the great truths revealed through the words that Jesus spoke and the deeds that he performed.
As members of the church, we are invited to live these great truths through our own personal vocations so that we may become one body in Christ.
