Let us love one another

‘This is my commandment: that you love one another as I have loved you.’ It’s as simple as that. So how did he love us? To his death. As a good shepherd loves and cares for his sheep. He forgave us our sins, untied the knots that bound us, cleared our sight, cured our brokenness, carried our burdens and restored us to life. He invited us to the feast, gave us the dignity of his friendship, and sailed with us through the storm.

This is how we should love one another. Every day we begin afresh, taking up our mission to do what he did: to do everything with love.
