The kingdom of God is among you
Today’s first reading gives us a beautiful description of Wisdom. Wisdom is free from anxiety, she is more beautiful than the sun. She is a breath of the power of God. She is, perhaps, the Holy Spirit.
We live in an age that is rich in information. Whatever your views and opinions might be, however dubious, you can always find a wealth of studies and statistics to back them up. Wisdom is not the same thing as information and education. Today’s reading reminds us of the divine nature of wisdom. In an age of information overload and information abuse, Wisdom renews all things and she orders all things well.
