Our Lady of the Rosary
Malachi 3:13-20. Happy are they who hope in the Lord – Psalm 1. Luke 11:5-13.
Prayer is a unifying force
Prayer is an interesting entity and I am sure that there are as many different ways of praying as there are people who pray. Because prayer is communication between us and God. It stands to reason that as each of us has a different relationship with our God, so our prayers will be different. And yet, there are times when we pray together as one and that pray becomes an incredible force. I have experienced this profoundly a couple of times in my life at Taize and at World Youth Day. At these times, we were not even speaking the same languages, but we were praying the same prayer. Prayer can be a unifying force, so long as, when we pray, we pray for unity and love.
