Our Lady of Sorrows

Jesus is full of compassion
Raised from the dead! Today’s Gospel is an extraordinary account of our compassionate God. Is it the empathy he had for the widow who, without a son, would become an outcast? Is it Jesus’ empathy for a young man taken too soon or the impact the death had on the community. We cannot be sure, but what we can take away from the account is that Jesus is full of compassion and will raise you to new life. No matter what the phrase means to you at this moment, you can count on his grace. Trust in him.
