Numbers 21:4-9. O Lord hear my prayer, and let my cry come to you – Psalm 101(102):2-3, 16-21. John 8:21-30.

Stavros: You speak in riddles, Jesus. What do you mean by lifting up the Son of Man? How will that show people who you are?

Jesus: Well, think about where you have found God to be present in your own life, Stavros. Is it sometimes in times of humiliation, opposition, chronic illness? Do you sometimes feel lifted up with me in these times’
Stavros: More often cast down, than lifted up, Jesus. More often shafted than raised. But I guess I need to hang in there.
Jesus: It’s good company you will be keeping, Stavros.Email this Print This Page
