Lord, give me strength
Have I betrayed the Son of Man today? Perhaps I’ve been careless with my words, causing hurt and distress. Perhaps I have actively harmed someone or perhaps I merely looked aside when a harm was being committed, rationalising that it was ‘not my problem’, or ‘I couldn’t really help at all, anyway’.
Perhaps, I tell myself that it will work out how it was supposed to without my input or interference.
Lord, give me the wisdom to discern when I have failed, and the strength to carry on to do and be better.
