Trust in God

Lord, lots of the time your Word is hard to understand. I guess that’s because you are God, and I am not. Praise be for that. I’m thankful not to be in charge of the world. Today, dear Lord, I trust myself to you knowing you will never abandon me, however grim the times may seem to be. Protect me from believing it’s up to me to fix the lives of others, and bless those who put up with me when without being asked, I attempt to do so. Help me to trust that in your wisdom this world, shadowed though it be, is your world, and you love it and are always at work in it, momently creating it according to your Word.
