The world of the Spirit shines brighter and more beautiful
The overwhelming message in today’s readings is that the spiritual world is so much greater and more beautiful than the temporal world. If the world we live is beautiful and inspires poetry, song and awe, how much more beautiful is the world of the spirit. We sometimes talk about people having or being a “beautiful spirit”. In the light of today’s readings, that becomes an incredibly rich compliment. The world of the spirit which is beyond our comprehension shines out of them and allows us to see a flash of the divine. Who is someone who has allowed you this glimpse, and how can you pass it on?
