Everything is important
Today we are reminded of Jesus’ humanity. He experienced everything it means to be human, and so when we talk to Jesus we can know that he understands. He has compassion for us and love for us. Sometimes we can think, ‘God/Jesus doesn’t want to hear my problems’, ‘there are so many worse things happening in the world’, ‘so many people who need God’s help more than I do’. It’s good to remember that loving someone means that even their little problems are important to us too. Therefore, our God wants us to be able to talk to him about things, big and small. They are all important.
