Justice and peace
For many, justice and peace have seemed unobtainable this year. War, famine, gun violence and natural disasters have been exacerbated by politicians who see more merit in stoking division rather than attempting the hard work of reconciliation and peace. Let us pray today’s psalm with the intention that our leaders exercise right judgment in promoting peace, defending the people and working for a just society. But know that we too are called to act justly in our dealings with others.
