1 John 3:7-10. All the ends of the earth have seen the saving power of God – Psalm 97(98):1, 7-9. John 1:35-42.
Come and see
‘He’s the Lamb of God’, said John,
And so we followed him like sheep.
‘What do you want?’ he turned and asked,
‘Where do you live?’ we blurted out.
‘Come and see’, he said. And so
we did, and stayed the day with him.
We came alive, were understood,
inspired, even called, perhaps.
That night I told my brother Pete
that we had seen the promised one.
Today we shall return to him.
