About Today Readings

St Bruno

Jonah 4:1-11. Lord, you are tender and full of love – Psalm 85(86):3-6, 9-10. Luke 11:1-4.

How to pray

Our Father (You who sustain me in being), who art in heaven (and in those who love me, in my faith community and in Nature), hallowed be Thy name (may my living bring You honour so that others may honour You),Thy Kingdom come (may all plants, animals and humans be in right relationship with each other, and with You),Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven (keep me attuned to your will and strengthen me to do it). Give us each day our daily bread (You give us so much to have and to share), forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us (help us to love one another as You love us), save us in time of trial (when my character is tested) and deliver us from evil (help us to end up facing the right way, facing You). Amen.
