Our Lady of the Rosary
Galatians 2:1-2, 7-14. Go out to all the world, and tell the Good News – Ps 116(117). Luke 11:1-4.
Say this when you pray
Arabella: That’s a great little prayer, Jesus. It’s short, gets us into conversation with God. Did you compose it yourself?
Jesus: It’s really a string of little prayers, isn’t it Arabella? Each of which we can dwell on in prayer. And of course they are all in Scripture. I just put these together. Which ones do you like most?
Arabella: I like to speak to God as Father. It’s more intimate than Lord or King, although I also call God Mother. And praying for our daily bread is so simple and modest. And of course praying for God’s kingdom is so important when our rulers are monsters.
Jesus: Do you find it helpful to pray for forgiveness, Arabella, and for forgiving other people?
Arabella: Not really my thing, Jesus. I prefer to hate some people. Can you help me there?
Jesus: Keep asking, Arabella.
